Hello,
I think the best solution to have multiple screens display the same image would be VNC (so not directly X concerned).
To watch other screens like your students', you have more ways :
- one is to use a vnc server again, on each client
- the other is to have unprotected (or not protected for you, at least) screens, with which you can connect and watch the whole screen (with e.g. xtv)

You can then investigate using simple Xterminals for the latter solution

Subject: [Xpert]Using X in a classroom environment

Hello,

I am currently investigating the possible usage of Linux and X in a classroom
setting.

For educational purposes, the following should be necessary :
- Each student a PC on which access and usage is restricted, fairly trivial with Linux

But for the usage of X :

- Teacher able to have the display of a student remotely displayed at his own station
- Teacher able to take over all displays of students for demonstration purposes

I have found references to such possibilities on the internet, but not in relationship to
XFree86.

Do these possibilities exist ? Have they been implemented ? Can Linux/XFree86 be
easily configured out of the box for these possibilities ?
