I'm running Redhat Linux 7.2 with XFree86 4.1.0 on a Toshiba 1805-S273 laptop. It has an external monitor port to which I can connect a regular SVGA monitor (or a projector). From Windows I can toggle between internal display (the LCD), external display or both just fine. That tells me that the port works. But from Linux, the toggle does not seem to work.
I've been scouring Google for days looking for a solution. I would really like to use Linux instead of Windows to make presentations, but I see this is as a significant show stopper. Are there Xwindows configuration options that will help here, hopefully with the same keyboard toggle functionality? Any insight on this issue would be greatly appreciated. -- Rich Smrcina Sytek Services, Inc. Milwaukee, WI [EMAIL PROTECTED] [EMAIL PROTECTED] Catch the WAVV!
