XMark93 is the standard. You already have it on your machine.
Read the /usr/X11R6/bin/Xmark script for instructions on how to
run it (Warning, this takes a few hours to run and for best results
should be run without a window manager).
x11perfcomp is a good tool for comparing XMark93 output, but
you have to read the docs well before generating the label file
that it needs in order to run.
XMark93 sucks though. It's an artificial benchmark. I should
probably look into writing a better one some day - one that models
real-life applications better.
