There could indeed be GeForce2 specific problems, but note that the
bug Keith uncovered is generic, and can happen on *any* machine
(for example, Keith's and my Compaq Evo N600c with Radeon Mobility;
his more than mine, but I see the problem sometimes as well).
It therefore is probably a good bet, being known to occur for any
and all laptops, independent of APM/ACPI. This bug is entirely
dependent on timing, and can potentially occur on any system.
I wanted to make the list aware that if they have problems with
suspend, it may not in fact be X's fault at all.
Keith, you should at least post your kernel patch, so that people
can verify if suspend problems are the kernel, or the X server.
