Hello. I suspect that I may be asking a very frequently asked question, but please bear with me.
I have a laptop with an ATI Mobile Radeon graphics card (16MB, AGP). The laptop runs Debian GNU/Linux woody/testing with X 4.1 and a 2.4.18 kernel. At present X is working, with the fbdev driver. I know I can get performance out of this card, though. What I'm not sure of is whether there is an appropriate driver in 4.1. The ATI driver maybe? I don't believe that installing 4.2 is an option. I'd be grateful for any advice at all or any pointers to useful things to read. Thank you, Jim McCloskey _______________________________________________ Xpert mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://XFree86.Org/mailman/listinfo/xpert
