Hi folks,
recently, I felt like using 1152x864 on my 17" Eizo CRT. Unfortunately, the standard
VESA mode at that resolution only offers a refresh rate of 75 Hz, which causes
headache :/

So I tried to build a modeline for my CRT. However, with all modeline generation tools
I found on the web, I encountered one problem or another.

With some, I got an error message like this:
"Screens found, but none has a usable configuration". I don't know how to fix that,
the refresh rates etc I gave the tool that computed the modeline were all correct.

The other main problem I have is the following:
When I move the mouse to the left edge of the display, a small grey bar appears right
at the mouse, which is visible all across the screen. It's as high as the mouse
pointer.

I hope that's a problem I can fix optimizing the modeline. However, I haven't found
info on how to do that in the XFree Timing HOWTO.

Could someone please point me into the right direction? Would be great if I could use
that modeline, as it gives me a nice refresh rate :))

Modeline "1024x768" 129.69 1024 1072 1312 1408 768 770 782 808 #114Hz
Modeline "1152x864" 129.13 1152 1200 1440 1536 864 866 878 904 #93Hz

(Same problem with both of them).

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Regards,
Tilman
