kdrive-based X servers ("TinyX") cannot use any configuration file, there
is no mechanism to parse XFree86-style config files or any others.
One of the goals for any kdrive based server is that it must always present
a usable X server, even in the face of incorrect or unspecified
configuration information. You should be able to just start the server
and have it work reasonably well. The fb-based server loads the screen
geometry from the kernel, the vesa-based servers provide RandR support so
that their screen size can be changed on the fly. The only missing piece
here is the ability to change the depth of the vesa-based server; that's
part of RandR which hasn't been implemented yet.
