[Xpert]Monitor, keyboard, mouse, Multihead

I am not sure whether the idea is new or not (probably old).   A lot of people (include me) are interested in multihead for whatever reason. Each Xwindow is consisted of a moniter (screen), a keyboard, and a mouse. For a multihead, for an example, dualhead, system, we have to connect two monitors, two keyboards and two mouses. Two monitors are simples, using two video cards or one card with two output, but two mouses and two keyboards become a problem. Sure, we can use usb keyboard or mouse today. But why not connect the mouse and keyboard to monitor, and let monitor connect to computer? I am not sure whether there is such monitor already. I am just don't know: we have a brilliant software--Xwindow (monitor, keyboard, mouse), why no related hardware (monitor, keyboard, mouse TOGETHER). If there is such hardware, it will be easy to build multihead.   J Bao
