With the 4.2.0 that I'm building and testing on many hardware configurations I'm getting a common error, I find.
On a PC into which I've put in a Matrox G550, using the accelerated driver and going to console, then returning to graphics mode, X is frozen and has some coloured vertical lines near the top of the screen. On a Compaq laptop using the r128 driver, the same thing happens. Could this be an X error rather than individual server error? Is there a patch I missed?
