Greetings:

I have a Toshiba Satellite 1900 with Slackware Linux installed on it, and
XFree 4.2.0. The manual for the machine says I have a Radeon Mobilty LY
adapter in the machine, and when "X" starts up, that's what the logfile
confirms. I am, however, having some very wierd video problems in that X will
sometimes start up, and the display is corrupted, or other times it will
start up, and the GUI is fine, but the Text console via CTL-ALT-F6 is
corrupted... Has anyone run into this before?....

The system is:

Toshiba Satellite 1900
256MB of RAM
Radeon Mobility LY adapter (w/ 16MB of RAM)
Slackware 8.0 running kernel 2.4.18 and XFree 4.2.0

Thanks.
Richard W.
