Hi, May anyone help me for following problem: I try to start X with configuration: Permedia 3000 (DataExpert - www.dataexpert.com.tw) with RAMDAC TI TVP3026, 4MB sRAM, Mandrake Linux 8.2 System RAM 320MB. During installation procedure graphic mode is suggested 640*480*16. But after installation, I may not configure it in some mode. I install XFree 4.2.0. DrakX (Xconfigurator) detect this card as Permedia2, but results is the same. I post in XF86Config-4 manuali ChipSet as ti_pm and pm, also MemorySize, RamDAC as TVP3026, but while X starts in log apair folowing :
(==) GLINT(0): Write-combining range (0xe9000000,0x400000) (--) GLINT(0): Attached RAMDAC is IBM 525 (--) GLINT(0): This IBM RAMDAC is NOT supported by this driver, aborting (II) UnloadModule: "glint" (II) UnloadModule: "ramdac" But my RAmDAC is not IBM525, it is TVP3026. I read in source that my RAMDAC is supported, but why IBM525 is hard coded, I don't understood.
