That is the problem. If they continue to get so wildly out of sync, they need be merged *at least* one month before each release, so that beta testers can hammer at real candidates for release. I'd like to see small amounts and frequent merges (say once a month, if non-trivial amounts have changed) between the XFree86 and DRI trees. -- Dr. Andrew C.
