Sounds like Radeon DRI support is rapidly stablizing. I'd like to get the XFree86 tree working again at some point, but it's diverged quite a ways from the DRI at this point with a bunch of multi-head patches from ATI. XFree86 will be doing a release sometime this year; if the DRI bits are going to be stable in the next couple of months, it would be nice to get them integrated so they could have wider testing for a while before the XFree86 release.
