Note that if the ATI patch you're merging is a big one, then it might
be better to start with Michel's version of the patch, instead of mine:

The reason is that I'm not completely sure I merged Michel's patch
against 2002-07-02 CVS correctly...
At any rate, when the patch lands, I'll update from CVS and test all
of the Radeon cards I have access to.
