Hi,

Recently my scalable fonts stopped working properly. I have them installed
just fine and they worked just fine until last week. But now they dont
work if I specify a size..
So lets say -bigelow & holmes-lucida console-medium-r-semi
condensed--*-120-100-100-m-0-iso8859-1 works, but -bigelow & holmes-lucida
console-medium-r-semi condensed--17-120-100-100-m-0-iso8859-1 doesnt...
And it worked properly last week.. xfontsel says that only size 17 is
available, but the "preview" section stops updating when I select it..

If I try opening the fonts with something like (xterm -fn "-bigelow &
holmes-lucida console-*-r-*--17-*-*-*-*-*-*-*" I get:
xterm: unable to open font "-bigelow & holmes-lucida
console-*-r-*--17-*-*-*-*-*-*-*", trying "fixed"....

But if I do: xterm -fn "-bigelow & holmes-lucida
console-*-r-*--*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*"
it opens properly with the font at the 17 points.

Also, this is only true when they are used as corefonts, if I use then
through Xft/Xrender they work perfectly, which is even more wierd.

Btw, I use XF 4.2.0 with a geforce4go (but the same thing happens with
both the nv and nvidia driver so I assume it has nothing to do with my
driver)... Ohh and it happens with the freetype and xtt drivers, as well
as the type1 driver. This happens both with ttf and Type1 fonts. It also happends if I
use the
built-in font renderer or a font server (xfs). So I really dont know
where the problem is...
