i have a diamond stealth 64 vram with an IBM RGB526CF ramdac chip
that works under intel
now i want to get it to run on my g3 apple oldworld mac
i initially thought that the card did not run because of a non supported
ramdac chip but that is probably not the case.
The main problem seems to be that the firmware of my apple does not
understand this card since it is made to run under intel.
is there a way to get it to work on my apple g3 running mandrake ppc 8.2
the tip i got to solve this problem was

The only method I can see to bring up a PC card on a Mac
(though I have not yet tried this) is to use a PC and dump a VGA BIOS
image and then emulate that image on the Mac (hacking it into int10
perhaps, which will use x86emu).

i looked around (google) to find a description of this procedure but could
not find any. Can someone help me to take the next step ??
