David,
many thanks for your advice. Increasing DacSpeed to 65.00 lets X find
a 1024x768 (60 Hz) mode both in 24 and 16 bit colour depth. I hope the
0.6% higher DacSpeed outside the specification will not do any harm
to the chip.
