I have installed XFree from cvs on my OpenBSD 3.1 laptop. After running
 XFree86 -configure and XFree86 -xf86config /root/XF86Config.new, the system
 locks up: the display freezes (black screen), mouse and keyboard are
 disfunctional. I can log in over the network and see that XFree is taking
 up 99% cpu, but a reboot is required in order to make the laptop usable
 again from the console.

 Any ideas?


This is a pre-release version of XFree86, and is not supported in any
