Hi,
I found a problem in xterm (I think) that shows incorrectly a line as
shown in this image:
http://eppesuigoccas.homedns.org/~giuseppe/xfree420bug/xterm-4.2.0-pre1v3.png
The font used in this image is
-adobe-courier-medium-r-normal--12-87-100-100-m-0-iso8859-15

The problem appears ramdomly but only in xterm. In the case of the Image
I just opened a new xterm and typed
zless /usr/share/doc/xlibs/changelog.Debian.gz

I tried many times and I got the error only twice. The problem was at
differet lines (both VT100 lines and pixel lines.)

I also received a suggestion from Thomas Dickey (thanks for your help) to
recompile xterm changing OPT_CLIP_BOLD to 0 in ptyx.h, but I got the same
problem. He suggest that the problem is not in xterm but in the x server.

The system I am using in Debian GNU/Linux Woody with the X packages from
the 'Debian X strike force' recompiled on woody. The packages version is
0pre1v4. The X server is 'sis' since the chipset is the SiS 630.

Bye,
Giuseppe
