Hi, I hate to (re)ask a question on the FAQ list but...
I would like to duplicate (or tee) a client (emacs) on multiple xservers at the same time. I use windows - hummingbird exceed and linux-redhat7.3 xfree86 (and others from time-to-time) and would like to share emacs (ie a single client) between them so that as I switch screens (eg KVM switch) I get access to my primary application. I have tried xmx but although it compiles it crashes with errors. I have looked at xmove but it is quite old as well. VNC provides some answers but it seems the client has to run in a rather clumsy root desktop that I do not like. With X being so network oriented I thought there must be an application to do this that is currently being maintained... Martin -- Dr. M.J. Reed Room: 4SB.6.15 Dept.
