So, anyone have any ideas why the the cvs version I pulled Oct 12 might cause my box to lock up?
I'm trying to get dual head working with a redeon ve (retail 32mb) and a rage pro (16mb). Previous efforts, the box would lock up if I had both the radeon and rage configured. In the case of the cvs version, the box locks up with a previously working config for single head radeon ve. I'll get cvs again if anyone thinks this will make a difference, but it's not a pretty site to have to power this box down. No log file is generated at all, if that's any indicator. Could this because by a conflict within hardware? Any assistance would be appreciated.
