[Xpert]Radeon ATI Mobility 7500

Ok, I got a Dell Latitude C640 with a Radeon ATI Mobility 7500 and loaded it with RH8.0. I upgraded the kernel to rawhide kernel kernel-2.4.19-0.pp.20. I upgraded my XFree86 to Mike Harris' development release of 4.2.99.2-0.20021126.10.

When I was using the RH8 XFree86 version of 4.2 I could get 800x600 on my external monitor (vga port off the back of the laptop). Now, I can only do 640x480. My monitor is a Dell P991 and can do 1600x1200. It is having problems reading in my hsync/vrefresh range, as you can see from this part of the log:
