XQuartz 2.7.8_beta1 is available for download. It is mostly the same as the just-released 2.7.7 except that it jumps up to the 1.16 branch of xorg-server (plus updated libXfont and fontsproto that were dependent on that update).

Just hit enter with no password. This will be fixed in 2.7.8_beta2 with an update to Sparkle 1.6.1.
