Got this working by:

/etc/pam.d/xrdp-sesman
==================
#%PAM-1.0
auth include system-auth
account include system-auth

then got this error when connecting:

The Connection Log at Client:
connecting to sesman ip 127.0.0.1 port 3350
sesman connect ok
sending login info to sesman
login successful for display 10
started connecting
connecting to 127.0.0.1 5910
error - problem connecting

This was solved by applying the patch:
http://cvs.pld-linux.org/cgi-bin/cvsweb.cgi/packages/xrdp/xrdp-signals.patch?rev=1.1;content-type=text%2Fplain

Now i can connect to my server using xRDP and it authenticates via LDAP.

Next issue is, when logging out from the X session, it logs me out but the RDP
session in my windows machine is still up and just showing an empty black
screen. unlike if i authenticate via local passwd, logging out is working fine.

anyone knows about this issue?

thanks,
 Sir June
