I recently installed Xrdp (0.5.0~20100303cvs-6) from the Debian
Squeeze repository. Everything seems to be working fine, but I am
noticing a simple issue which I thought could be worth noting. When a
client connects (from the Windows built-in RDP client) and closes
forcefully the connection (e.g., closing the client without logging,
shutting down the client machine, etc), the Xvnc process and the
associated X clients remain running on the server. The manual page for
Xvnc suggests the default timeout is 3600 seconds. At first I thought
Xvnc will notice the lack of activity after an hour and quit
automatically but this does not occur. Equally surprising, I found out
that restarting the xrdp service does not kill the started Xvnc
processes. The desirability of this feature is questionable but I feel
that the first issue should be addressed. Please let me know if you
need any additional information.

With Regards,
Atanas Atanasov
