Hi,
We are using xrdp 0.5.0-0.13 with vnc-server 4.1.2-14 on centos 5.6. It
launches an icewm session once logged in. There can be 10 - 20 users on a
system at a time.
I am having a lot of problems where people log out or their session terminates
and that user cannot log back in. The only way they can log back in is by
changing their geometry or color level. Sometimes that doesn't work and the
only way I can get them back in is by restarting the xrdp service.
The only thing left behind from what I can tell is a bunch of defunct
xrdp-sessman processes. This started happening about 1.5 - 2 months ago. We
really need help with this!
Thank You.

Then I build it and install it(make install)
stemp 2 i git from https://github.com/FreeRDP/xrdp.git
run the cmd "./configure --enable-freerdp "
the error is followed:
checking for FREERDP... configure: error: Package requirements (freerdp >=
0.8.1) were not met:
No package 'freerdp' found
Consider adjusting the PKG_CONFIG_PATH environment variable if you
installed software in a non-standard prefix.

The changes needed to use FreeRDP as a module didn't make it into
FreeRDP master(I don't think).
Now since 1.0, it's a total different interface so I'll 1.0 can't be
used as a module yet.
Grab my fork(0.9) from here.
https://github.com/jsorg71/FreeRDP.git
than make, make install
then like you said with xrdp, "./configure --enable-freerdp "

Hi All
I have created a branch that adds syslog support to the XRDP process.
When I now run XRDP and supervise the syslog, a strange behavior has
come to my attention. For each login the users perform, a sequence of
doubled log events are created as indicated below. (I have removed the
time and user to make it more readable.) It seems that there is some
bug here, even if everything works. I have not performed any detailed
debugging yet because I would like to know if anyone have any
suggestions or comments. Without knowing I suspect that we have to
add a mutex or semaphore somewhere?
Regarding the log output, the numbers in the parentheses are (process
ID)(Thread ID).
I hope that my patch in the future can simplify the process of
debugging and creating bug reports. In professional use inside
companies the log can also be a prerequisite for approval of the
software. There are many small changes in my patch where I have
removed g_writeln() and replaced them with the log equivalent
log_message(). The log functions are shared between sesman an xrdp and
most of the patch is actually a change, of the already existing log
support used by sesman.
The source for the patch can be found at:
