I'm different. Most times I just know. I very rarely find the need to enlarge
and/or mark charts, I just know where I left off and can follow the chart with
my eyes. I guess it's a gift, and so far it's worked pretty well...rarely do I
make big mistakes (or even little ones). :)

The one time I did a chart that I decided to mark it was way too messy and
distracting, and I still made mistakes (maybe even more) that I then had to
sit and redo that very instant, no matter how late it had gotten, because I'd
already marked the chart, and knew I'd miss the correction in the morning. If
I ever have to do something to keep my place in the future, I'll have to come
up with something clever that doesn't include putting the work down every four
or five stitches and the use of something that can get on the fabric, etc.
(yes, that happened too).
