I was fifteen the first time someone bought me a kit. I've always liked
arts and crafts. My parents bought me a bear cross stitch kit for xmas one
year. I looked at that and thought, "What on earth do I do with this???"
It remained in my bureau drawer for years.
I never figured it out until I was 21, when I learned from a friend in the
army. :) I still had the bear kit and I did finish it. I haven't stopped
stitching since.
