I got started crossstitching by watching the lady who took care of my father.
He had Multiplesclerosis and when my mom went out someone would come and care
for him. When Pat came to care for him she was always crafting something.
The x- stitch was what most intrigued me. I started with a small kit of a
Christmas mouse and it exploded from there. I was about 21 just out of
college and I was a nanny. It turned out the lady I worked for was into it
too and she hlped me also. I love crossstitch and have just started back up
after stopping for a while, I had kids( no explanation necessary) now I am
making time to do it and doing it at work. I work as a fire dpt. dispatcher
and sometimes the shifts are very long.
Stitching again and still loving it.
