I am working on my fourth Anne cloth afgan. I fringe them. First I stitch
aroung the edge with my sewing machine. Match the thread and sew on the area
in between the squares. Right on the edge next to where the fringe will be.
The first three, I just fringed, the fourth one I am going to fringe and then
knot the fringe. I will take four pieces of thread and tie the together on
the very top. I tried it and like the results. I don't back the afgan. I am
very careful with my stitching, so it will look good on both sides.
