Thanks to all those trying to help me convert DMC Medicis into DMC floss
floss numbers. All the wool numbers begin with an '8' but it's not as
simple as dropping the '8 I'm afraid.
I finally contacted DMC themselves and have had a reply that there is no
conversion chart for wool to floss. They did suggest I purchase shade cards
which have the pieces of wool/floss attached & try and match up that way.
How do others convert needlepoint charts into cross stitch? I think I may
use the colour photo of the finished piece and go by eye as to which floss
colours to use.
