OK, thanks, > Of course, you don't need to, there is a perfectly good deb > 'python2.4-pymacs'. $ apt-cache policy python2.4-pymacs python2.4-pymacs: Installed: (none) Candidate: (none) Version table: (I have a Debian unstable) I've tried installing the ubuntu package, but it didn't install on my system. Anyway, that's not the real issue, I was sure there would be an easy solution. The problem of asynchronous calls OTOH is rather blocking for me. An alternative for us would be to write small, and relatively trivial python scripts that would do the same as bzr commands, but with an output format more easy to parse from Xtla (it could output lisp expression directly for example). It also has the advantage of removing a dependancy to Pymacs. -- Matthieu
