I can only guess that your XEmacs installation is too "GNU/Emacsish" :-)

Actually, you are right, it was a pretty small fix. (see my --patch-4
submission).

BTW, doing that is redundant for XEmacs.  `batch-update-autoloads'
will add that form to auto-autoloads.el.  But don't worry, my patch
takes care of that too. :-)
