In this case, post the full backtrace (or the relevant part) you get
with M-x set-varable RET debug-on-error RET t RET. (shouldn't be
necessary now, but it's a good habit to take)

diff -u would have been more readable.

Does almost the same. Can you check if it solves your problem, I
