I think the name is too long (in spite of my code:-P).
My proposal is rename above function like:
tla--read-A
tla--read-A/C
tla--read-A/C--B
tla--read-A/C--B--V
tla--read-A/C--B--V--R
tla--read-A-for-tree
Approval or objection?
I'll put the newer code to xtla-core.el.
