They already have a kind of feature freeze. So I don't think xtla.el would be accepted for the next release. xtla.el is still under heavy development. An inclusion in emacs would mean a API freeze to ensure backward compatibility. To conclude: I think, xtla.el is not finished enough for an inclusion. Other opinions? -- Stefan.
