The default mode is reasonable, so probably it was just a accident that untabing broke indention. BTW such code linting can be a PITA, if not done by 1) Everyone, please sync and wait 2) Lint & commit 3) Everyone, please sync and go ahead causing loads of conflicts. Patch has a -l option, but this is not exactly what you want! Robert.
