I've installed above changes to my tree.
One more:
(define-key tla-global-keymap [?a] 'tla-archives)
(define-key tla-global-keymap [?A] 'tla-add-log-entry)
I think these two key bindgs should be swapped.
Reason 1. I guess there are much more cases that the user uses
tla-add-log-entry than tla-archives.
Reason 2. tla-add-log-entry is analogy of add-change-log-entry-other-window
which bounds C-x 4 a.
