Ive installed xubuntu 9.10 last week had update to one kernel and 2 days ago to another. 2.6.31-20-generic Maybe something else couses the problem but im having the same bug and only now. Why only now?
It started After update this week and only after 2 times restart i got 2 mixers http://www.zimagez.com/zimage/screenshot638.php heres pastebin of update list from /var/log/apt/term.log http://paste.ubuntu.com/389875/ I removed the second one from Session and Startup->Startup removing Volume Control(2nd mixer). But when its removed i cant get sound on couse that Volume Control(2nd mixer) needs to be unmuted. Also 2nd mixer not responding to keyboard mute button in 2 situations. when 2nd mixer properties are open and when 2nd mixer mute is on. It responds again if 2nd mixer properties are closed and mute removed in properties. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=etCjB1MpKto example video but youtube somehow has problem with sound in the middle(it dissapears till end) so look on icons when i press mute on keyboard and icon not responding in thouse 2 situations.
