Interesting. Now I see how one does this.
1. canonical-kernel-team ppa
2. xubuntu-dev ppa.
So, do you install the current release, stick in the ppa repos and what?
sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get dist-upgrade OR
is it release-upgrade?
Thanks.

Install dev release - available from the iso tracker.
Update and upgrade
Add ppa's as normal.
Update and dist-upgrade.
If you then need help with the dev release - don't use the normal
support area's, that's for released and supported versions. (There's the
+1 forum at ubuntu forums, ubuntu+1 on freenode, our dev channel
Most of the information you'll need is at
http://docs.xubuntu.org/contributors/ and
http://wiki.xubuntu.org/qa/isotesting
(Use the canonical kernel ppa if you wish - don't ask us for help though
;) )
