FWIW:
I tried Brave when it first came out and it had so many crippling
deficiencies for me that I went back to Chrome.
I have recently switched back to Brave and so far I have found it to be
quite workable. It is at least 90% Chrome compatible, but it runs way
faster and consumes far fewer resources.
There are a very few things I miss in Chrome, and frankly, at the
moment, I can't think of what they are.

It does'nt have all the benefit/bitcoin stuff and has a very efficient
built-in adblocker.
