This is my first question to this list.
I've been a long time user of another flavour of Linux and I'm wondering
about the wisdom of installing Xubuntu 21.04 on my ageing laptop bearing
in mind that Canonical has warned against upgrading to 21.04 because the
possibility of booting into a black screen.
I have Xubuntu 21.04 on a bootable USB stick so I'm ready to go, but
only if it's safe to do so.
