Hello,

Mauro has created a JEdit Plugin for the Thinlet XUL
Toolkit called Thinlet-Helper.

  Mauro writes:

Thinlet-Helper is a jEdit plugin. Its aim is to help
developers and GUI designers working with the great
Thinlet GUI Toolkit created by Robert Bajzat. Using
Thinlet-Helper, it is possible to take complete
control over the development and modification of a
Thinlet GUI. You can at any moment, while changing the
xml code of a Thinlet document, see in real time the
effect of your modifications on the GUI itself.

Note that Thinlet Helper is NOT a Thinlet RAD. If
you need one, I recommend Theodore by Wolf Paulus.

When started, the plugin will try to parse the
current jEdit buffer. If it contains a valid thinlet
xml document, the resulting GUI will be shown in the
lower panel of the plugin window. The "Refresh" button
will parse again the active buffer and the "Close"
one will close the plugin window. You can immediately
test changes made to the buffer simply clicking
"Refresh" on the plugin window.

In the Thinlet-Helper announcement Mauro writes:

Version 0.1.2 of Thinlet-Helper, a jEdit plugin for
Thinlet development is available. It's a preliminary
release. If I get positive feedback, more features
will be added.

So let's cheer on Mauro so Mauro keeps working on
Thinlet-Helper.
