Hello,

Alan Williamson has kicked off the Thinlet World -
the official and world's first Thinlet community blog
for the latest news, coding tips & tricks, release
announcements and more about the Thinlet XUL toolkit.

  Alan writes:

Let us welcome you to you the official blog for the
best Java GUI toolkit available, namely Thinlet. When
you use Thinlet you soon discover that this is how
java.awt should have been. It is small, fast, easy to
use and extremely flexible.

Thinlet was the brain child of one Robert Bajzat who
managed to show that a Java GUI application could be
built without relying on megabytes of Java class
files. The whole library is just a staggering 38KB!

Robert is just but one man and can only do so much.
Not only has Robert released Thinlet under the GNU
Lesser Public License but he has added his weight to a
number of initiatives to support the rapidly growing
and expanding developer community.

Thinlet's recently got its own active mailing list
hosted on Yahoo Groups and now, this blog which we
will use to communicate code samples, hints and tips,
and all the latest news straight from the heart of the
Thinlet community.

In addition this blog will showcase some of the latest
applications to be released using the Thinlet GUI. If
you have anything to report then please make sure we
get to know about it. We want to hear success stories.
