  for some fresh insight about wheter Avalon XAML for
today's .Net is a pipe dream allow me to highlight the
new online poll over at the xaml-talk Yahoo! Group
asking:

  Do you believe you can clone Microsoft's upcoming
Windows 2007 Avalon API?

  The answers include:

  o Yes, in three month. 
  o Yes, in six month.
  o Yes, in a year.
  o Yes, in two years.

  o No. It's nigh to impossible.

PS: Frank Hileman comments on xaml-talk: No one is
going to clone Avalon, in 6 months, or 3 years even.
It is a huge complex API. What you see here is a
marketing angle, to take advantage of a buzzword, and
push your product. I am sure that true xaml will never
run correctly on Xamlon -- but "xaml" sounds great,
doesn't it?
