Hello, Dave Orme - the XSWT project lead/maintainer - writes:
The XSWT team is currently evaluating the possibility of adding Swing support to XSWT. Obviously, this would require a renaming of the project, but aside from that, we are interested in everyone's feedback. Do people think that the 1:1 Java-to-XML approach pioneered by XSWT would be valuable to Swing also? Does it make sense to extend XSWT into this space if we can do it either in a pluggable fashion or without bloating the parser? If you have an opinion on this topic, please let us know on the XSWT mailing list. Source: http://xswt.sourceforge.net/cgi-bin/xswt/2004/11/24#swing_support What's your take? Do you think XSWT is morphing into a XAML parser clone for Java? Do you think a name such as XAML4J is fitting? - Gerald ----------------------- Gerald Bauer Rich Client Conference (RichCon) 2005 - http://richcon.com XUL News Wire - http://xulnews.com XUL Alliance - http://xulalliance.org United XAML - http://unitedxaml.org ------------------------------------------------------- SF email is sponsored by - The IT Product Guide Read honest & candid reviews on hundreds of IT Products from real users.
