Thanks for the info. With build 86 (Indiana) it seems to work correctly now 
(XICCallback is defined and Wine is running).

On older builds it seems to help comment out in Wine sources 
XRegisterIMInstantiateCallback() call.

Any other idea here? This way Wine won't be ever able to run on Solaris 10 then.
