Because I didn't get around to updating them. I really need to change the package version to something completely different, since it's a bug that it looks anything like the Xorg version number. (It's due to this bug that the Solaris 10 patches claim to be for "X11 6.8.0" even when they're delivering Xorg 6.9 or 7.2, since package versions can't change in Solaris Update Releases or patches, so the Solaris 10 packages are stuck at 6.8.0 versions forever.) >> Before reporting problems, check http://sunsolve.sun.com/ >> to make sure that you have the latest version. > > What would one find there? Patches for released versions of Solaris, like Solaris 10 and someday whatever this release goes out as (Solaris 11?). It seemed like the most sensible URL to put in for the vendor support URL.
