It shouldn't matter what kind of monitor you have.
I use that line with 2 LCD monitors to make sure
I get the right refresh rates.

Well, you can't ignore the horizontal refresh rates,
they have to be somewhat reasonable too, but you
should find the right values in your monitor manual.
