OS2008.05-b86 gives these results on a Intel 2.5Ghz Pentium4/ Intel 82845G
IGP/Intel (i810) 2.1.1 driver config using glxgears:

1. 286 FPS (glxgears - open window, 1280x768x75 resolution)
2. 2539 FPS (glxgears - minimized window, 1280x768x75 resolution)

A Linux distro gives these results on a Intel 2.5Ghz Pentium4/ Intel 82845G
IGP/Intel 2.3.1 driver config using glxgears:

1. 467 FPS (glxgears - open window, 1280x768x75 resolution)
2. 3046 FPS (glxgears - minimized window, 1280x768x75 resolution)

Now, I see the issue. At first, the test from OSOL2008.11-b96 -> b98 didn't
reveal a big FPS difference but I did see 15 FPS difference. OSOL2008.05-b86
reveals there is a 40 FPS difference. So, something is amiss, but I was pretty
curious if it was specifically the Intel driver or XServer 1.3.0/Mesa.

I loaded up a Linux distro which revealed their build of the Intel 2.3.1 video
driver using glxgears gives 467 FPS versus 286 FPS for the related Intel 2.3.0
driver version implemented on OSOL2008.11-b93 - while even giving better FPS
scores than the Intel 2.4.0 driver implemenented in OSOL2008.11-b98?!? What??

Also, I had Compiz off for all OSOL tests but *ON* for the Linux test.
OSOL2008.11-b98 started to display issues with terminal launch once I activated
the Compiz-extra option.

Conclusion: We have a big bug here affecting the Intel video driver performance.
